Hostile mob kills give at most 12 candy per hour, and at night their chance is 1.5 times higher. During Kürbisregen candy drops are doubled, during Spukstunde tripled. Only one of the two counts per roll, and Spukstunde wins.

Right-click a Spooky Bag to open it. Each bag rolls one reward. The weights add up to 108, so a weight of 35 means 35 chances in 108.

The Halloween OneBlock
Halloween blocks. Each break has a 5 % chance that a Halloween block comes next: Pumpkin 30 %, Carved Pumpkin 20 %, Hay Bale 20 %, Jack o'Lantern 15 % and Cobweb 15 % of those.
Spooky waves. At night each break has a 0.15 % chance to spawn a wave of 3 zombies, skeletons or spiders. At most 4 are alive at once, and each disappears after 90 seconds. Spukstunde makes waves 4 times as likely, Geisterzug 12 times.
Lucky Block surprise. A Lucky Block has a 20 % chance of a Halloween surprise: 3 to 6 candy (weight 60), a Spooky Bag (15) or a prank (25).
Daily events
Every day at 20:00 (Berlin time) either Kürbisregen or Spukstunde starts on the server. Geisterzug is not part of the 20:00 slot. It can roll as a rare regular island event during the event window.

The Pumpkin King
An Endboss fight that starts on 25 October, 26 October, 31 October or 1 November 2026 (Berlin time) is a Pumpkin King (Kürbiskönig) fight. Only 25 October has a scheduled fight, at 20:00. The other three days have no scheduled fight, so a Pumpkin King appears there only when a fight starts on that day.
The Pumpkin King has at most 10 % more health than the regular Endboss. The regular Endboss rewards are paid as usual. On top of that, every fighter gets 15 candy and 1 Spooky Bag when he falls, offline fighters on their next join. The player with the highest damage earns the Pumpkin King title (Kürbiskönig).

Candy bonuses raise the base chance relatively: with the Pumpkin Harvester Pickaxe, the 0.4 % OneBlock chance becomes 0.44 %. All gear and accessory candy bonuses together stop at +30 %.
Pickaxe: Efficiency 7, Fortune 5, Unbreaking 10. It works in your main hand inside the event window. A broken pumpkin has a 2 % chance to turn into a Jack o'Lantern with 3 candy.
Axe: Sharpness 3, Efficiency 7, Unbreaking 10, and 10 % more damage against spooky mobs.
Shovel: Efficiency 7, Unbreaking 10.
Lantern Warden armour: iron-level protection with Protection 2 and Unbreaking 10, the boots also Feather Falling 5. With 3 or more pieces you get Night Vision at night. With all 4 pieces you also get Speed at night and a 3 % chance for a Spooky Bag after each candy drop.
Accessories work until 9 November 2026 and then stay with you as collectibles.

When is the best time to farm candy?
During Spukstunde at 20:00 Berlin time, when candy drops are tripled and spooky waves are 4 times as likely. Spooky mobs drop candy 35 % of the time.
Which gear helps most?
For OneBlock mining the Pumpkin Harvester Pickaxe (+10 %), for mob farming the Axe (+15 %). The full Lantern Warden set adds +8 % and the Lantern Talisman +5 %. All bonuses together stop at +30 %.
How many Pumpkin King fights are there?
One fight is scheduled, on 25 October at 20:00 Berlin time. A fight that starts on 26 October, 31 October or 1 November is also a Pumpkin King fight.
The Pumpkin King is a variant of the Endboss, the Kürbispfad belongs to the scavenger hunts, and the Spukbaum sapling grows in the Bonsai pot.
