The workbench replaces the plain crafting table with one menu for vanilla and server recipes, and every minion, breaker, composter and Compressed item on Mythblock is crafted in it.
Server recipes need the 5x5 grid
Every minion, Compressed, Enchanted, breaker and composter recipe is a shaped 5x5 recipe. The 5x5 grid unlocks automatically once your island reaches a set phase.
How it works
Right-click a crafting table, or type /workbench. A crafting table always opens the largest grid you have unlocked. Vanilla and server recipes share the same grid, and one shift-click crafts at most 64 times.

The 5x5 grid unlocks for the island owner and every member once the island reaches its phase gate. If you join while the island already qualifies, you get it on join. The largest grid any workbench opens is 5x5.
Compressed and Enchanted items
Compressed and Enchanted items are the base material for minions, gear and breakers. Both are 5x5 recipes.

Recipe browser
/workbench browse shows every recipe, including the ones you cannot craft yet, so you can plan ahead. /workbench search finds recipes by name, key, material or lore. Recipes are sorted into 15 categories: All, Tools, Weapons, Armor, Food, Building, Redstone, Decoration, Brewing, Minions, Other, Gear, Components, Breakers and Compressed.
Achievements
The workbench tracks your crafts and pays crafting XP, and some achievements also pay coins. Look for the coin column if you are saving up.

Tips
Why can I see a recipe but not craft it?
Most server recipes need the 5x5 grid. If your island has not reached its phase gate yet, the crafting table opens a smaller grid and the recipe cannot fit.
Where do Enchanted items come from?
Craft them on the 5x5 grid from 50 Compressed items, which you craft from 400 raw items each.
Can I turn the custom workbench off?
Yes. /workbench casual switches your crafting table to the plain vanilla screen, and the same command switches it back.
