Cosmetic ranks are prestige titles purchased with Crystals on the website. They grant a colored chat gradient, flight time, and access to /island replace. Mythic is the exception: it cannot be bought and drops only from crates.
Not progression ranks
Cosmetic ranks are separate from the three progression trees. They do not boost mining, farming, or combat stats. See Progression ranks for those.

Ranks are purchased sequentially. You must own the previous rank before buying the next.
Upgrade fee
When upgrading from a rank you already own to a higher one, you pay the price difference plus a fixed 250 Crystal fee.Formula:(new rank price - current rank price) + 250 CrystalsBuying your first cosmetic rank costs the full listed price with no upgrade fee.Example: Upgrading from Acolyte (500) to Void (3,000) costs (3,000 - 500) + 250 = 2,750 Crystals.
Flight time cap
Each cosmetic rank sets a hard ceiling on your flight minutes via /island fly. The cap shown in the table above is the maximum bank you can accumulate. Flight time recharges through vote rewards and pass daily grants.If you also have a monthly pass, whichever source grants the higher flight cap wins.
Island replace
Cosmetic rank holders can unlock /island replace, which swaps the oneblock material for whatever item you hold.
