Your island evolves through 148 phases across three worlds:

Standard (Overworld)

Grass, stone, ores, and biome blocks. The main progression path.
Nether
40
Netherrack, soul sand, basalt, ancient debris. Unlocks after Standard.
End

End stone, purpur, chorus. The final stretch before prestige.
Each phase changes the blocks that generate on your island. Breaking the current phase's blocks and meeting the requirements advances you to the next phase.
Prestige
After completing all 148 phases, you can prestige to reset your island and start over with bonuses:
Your island resets to phase 1
You receive 100 Crystals
You earn 500 season points
Prestige count is permanent and displayed on your profile
Each prestige makes subsequent runs slightly faster through accumulated perks
Prestige is voluntary
You choose when to prestige. There is no automatic reset. You can stay at phase 148 indefinitely if you prefer.

Leaderboard scoring
The season leaderboard uses a composite scoring formula with weighted logarithmic scaling, a diversity multiplier, and a streak multiplier. This means:
Doing many different activities scores better than grinding one thing
Consistency (daily streaks) is rewarded with a multiplier
Diminishing returns prevent any single activity from dominating
